Los niños exploran, se mueven, utilizan su imaginación, juegan y aprenden con todo su ser; sus mentes, sus cuerpos y sus corazones. Los adultos podemos apoyarlos en este aprendizaje de una manera cariñosa y comprensiva, que entiende y respeta la importancia de la forma en que los niños se mueven, piensan y sienten. Este taller explorará la filosofía de la Dra. Emmi Pikler, quien propone un método para cuidar a los bebes y niños pequeños que se lleva acabo con armonía y respeto. Los estudios realizados por el Instituto Pikler en Budapest, Hungría durante ocho décadas, sugieren que los niños pequeños crecen más sanamente cuando son considerados partícipes en su propio cuidado y cuando son los que inician sus propias exploraciones y sus propios juegos. Exploraremos como un bebé o niño pequeño que recibe un cuidado atento y esmerado tiene mayor sentido de auto-capacidad. Los asistentes profundizaran su conocimiento sobre el cuidado y educación de los bebes y niños pequeños. Este taller de tres días de duración utilizará una variedad de actividades de aprendizaje vivencial, videos, así como también conversaciones y charlas. Children move, explore, wonder, play and learn with their whole being: their minds, bodies and hearts. Adults can support this learning with a careful and caring approach that understands and respects the importance of children’s movement, thinking and feeling. This 9-hour, online, introductory workshop will explore the philosophy of Dr. Emmi Pikler, which advocates a peaceful and respectful approach to caring for babies and toddlers. Neurologist, Prof. Paola Guraieb will give insights regarding healthy neurodevelopment, and former caregiver at the Pikler®️ Institute, Mrs. Angyal Till, will share her experiences, thus deepening our understanding and importance of this pedagogical approach.
