It is with deep regret that we have lost one of our Association's first contributor to the Pikler/Lóczy Fund USA, Tony Curtis. Mr. Curtis reached out to me to see what he could do to help the Pikler Institute. Both his daughters, Jamie Lee and Alexandra, had told him about Pikler and both had been greatly influenced by the Pikler Approach as well as Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE). Introduction to the Pikler Approach

Participants will receive training hours from Tulsa Technology Center. This introductory workshop to the Pikler Approach will review the importance of self-initiated movement and development of play, its inner regularities, the often overlooked stages of this development, and the conditions of such development. Pikler Institute Summer Course at Pikler Institute Budapest, Hungary - Intensive I Summer Course: June 7-18, 2010; Intensive II Summer Course July 5-16, 2010.

The Second Level summer course (Intensive II) is for professionals who have already participated in the two week-long Summer-courses at the Pikler Institute in Budapest between 2004-2009 and who are involved in dealing with children, parents or educators.
